Aaron Simpson is the Founder and Group Executive Chairman of Quintessentially. Having graduated from Oxford University, Aaron enjoyed an illustrious career in film production, initially working for Scala and Rocket Pictures and then establishing his own production company, Flashlight Films. Aaron is an instrumental figure in the Quintessentially Foundation, an organisation dedicated to supporting charities around the globe. His strong entrepreneurial edge has been the driving force in establishing Quintessentially as a truly global, influential British brand with physical offices in over 65 cities worldwide.
Jackie has 10+ years of experience in management, customer service and business development. Prior to joining Kindred, Jackie worked as a travel consultant for Unilever before being appointed Head of Development Team at Quintessentially in 2002. In 2014 Jackie started as Executive Assistant to Aaron Simpson. When not working, Jackie loves to spend time with her family and friends.
Mike is a commercial leader with 10+ years of experience in business development, customer success, operations and marketing. He has successfully helped scale early stage start-ups such as Good eLearning and PatSnap. In addition to this, Mike founded Blue Relativity, a London based sales & startup consultancy specialising in SaaS.
Over the last 20 years, Paul has worked across the Telco sector in both start up and corporate. Throughout his career he has focused on the commercial side of the businesses and has a proven track record in growth and monetisation through numerous successful partnerships that he has negotiated with the likes of Vodafone, EE, Optus, BA, Expedia, Viacom and many more.
Graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and Willamette University, Dan is founder and managing director of London-based merchant bank East West Global Capital. He previously spent nearly 20-years at Wells Fargo Securities/Wachovia, where he built and led the bank’s mergers and acquisitions advisory business outside of North America. Prior to banking, Dan was a consultant with Bain & Company and an attorney with Dewey Ballantine. Dan is an active member of the London Mayfair Chapter Young Presidents Organisation.
After 34 years with GE, Rich retired in March 2018 as Chairman & CEO of GE Capital. He held several global leadership positions in Financial Services with extensive experience in the US, Europe and Asia. Rich is currently a Senior Advisor to a PE firm, sits on two public boards and two private boards. Rich is a graduate of Skidmore College and has dual citizenship (UK & US).
With years of experience having worked within the luxury, tech and lifestyle industry, David brings a wealth of experience at a senior level focused on business development, sales and team management. David runs as a business first and foremost, therefore he is in business to succeed. As a consequence, David’s simple philosophy is that we only succeed if our clients succeed. This mantra sits at the forefront of everything he does. David’s intention is to offer targeted solutions to our customers, each designed against the backdrop of a client’s specific business requirement.
Sammie has many years of experience in business development providing research-led strategic insight to businesses. She is experienced in equipping individuals and groups to work towards a common aim and achieve specific targets, accelerate growth and maximise outcomes. She is also a fully trained NLP Master Practitioner specialising in child bereavement and abuse, committed to helping people become the best version of themselves without restrictions of emotional trauma. She is married with five children, three dogs and a cat.
Daniel Bee is a communications advisor specialising in public relations, marketing and brand consultancy. With a wealth of experience in the Entertainment and Media industries in both the UK and USA, Daniel and his team consult to some of the world’s most renowned companies, brands and individuals.
Jackie joins Kindred with a wealth of experience in business, fashion and luxury lifestyle consultant as previous West Coast Director of Quintessentially and owner of Fred Segal Fun. She also does fashion consulting for Disney and owns fashion line, Disney Vintage.
A passionate product visionary with over 20 years’ experience in delivering and scaling B2C and B2B platforms and mobile products across Sports, iGaming, Consulting and Mobile Games. Has successfully built effective and successful product and scale teams globally. A strategic and commercial thinker with the ability to communicate ideas and vision across all levels within a business, has worked in SME, early stage startups and active mentor in the startup community.
Chartered Management Accountant with 10+ years’ experience working with small businesses/start-ups. As well as managing the finances of a business, I have a track record of providing high quality reporting & analysis which drive strategic decision making.
Involved in technology since a very early age, Tom is responsible for Kindred’s technical strategy, heading up the technical relationship with our strategic partners. He focuses on emerging technologies that will help Kindred innovate and stay current in an ever moving tech world. Prior to Kindred, Tom worked as Senior Developer at Ridgeway Digital, award-winning digital marketing and web development company. He also co-founded tenant screen corporation, Lets Safe and is a Director/CTO of Softools.
Experienced HR and Skills development professional in the Tech and NGO space in the UK and South Africa . Most recently started my own recruitment company and became Êa director of a development fund for a Business coaching company.
Rory joins Kindred from a background in luxury retail, ranging from retail management through to his last role as Corporate Gifting Account Manager at Smythson of Bond St looking after the APAC region. He brings with him a wealth of business development experience and knowledge of the retail sector. Outside of work Rory is actively involved with an amateur dramatics group who donate all proceeds to local charities. At the weekend he can often be found strolling the commons of South West London with his four and a half year old rescue staffy pit bull called Nova!
Originally from the U.K, Tammy began her career in London with Quintessentially, the world’s leading luxury lifestyle group. Tammy spent most of her 7 year tenure developing the private sales side of the business and transferred to the New York office in 2011. From this exposure, Tammy built a valuable network within hospitality and founded Tarela People in 2013 Ð a headhunting service for the luxury hospitality industry. A year after merging the business with a global fashion recruitment agency, Tammy joined Kindred and heads up brand development on the East Coast.
Louise is a Columbia University, NY Marketing graduate with extensive experience as a Brand Consultant working in both luxury and disruptive industries. Prior to Kindred she worked as a Global Brand Director for Total Management before becoming an independent Luxury and Lifestyle Brand Consultant, and then founding Lola Branding, a consultancy for lifestyle brands. She is exceptional at building brands from the ground up to having a global presence through strategic partnerships, events, community building and marketing.
Originally from Spain and living in London, Natalia has built a career in influencer marketing for the last 6 years with previous experience at Freuds, Publicis Media, as well as Amazon Fashion where she acquired substantial experience in fashion digital marketing. Natalia has worked in some of the most successful start-ups in Madrid and, before graduating, was nominated in the top band of students out of four thousand students by Santander Bank’s Jumping Talent initiative. When not working, Natalia can be found browsing through the archives of ancient history and archaeology, yoga training, travelling around the world and eating out in Shoreditch or Dalston.
Jason joins Kindred as part of the US team all the way from Sydney, Australia. After deciding halfway through a law degree never to be a lawyer, he founded Influencer agency Unbridled Management and now brings his experience in business negotiations and deal breaking, as well as his extensive contacts in the digital space to the West Coast. When he’s not working you’ll find Jason either catching the latest movie releases, following his beloved Arsenal FC or in one of LA’s many nightlife spots.
Dalit is a brand strategist, growth marketer and entrepreneur that has chosen to use her powers for good. After spending more than a decade working for corporate, she now only serves brands that have a meaningful impact on the world. Dalits academic qualifications include both an honours in Strategic Brand Management and a degree in Psychology. She has lived and worked in South Africa and abroad, operating in various industries such as retail, pharmaceuticals, advertising and the social enterprise space. Dalit’s passion is building brands ‘for good’, transforming big ideas into reality and strives to impress herself daily. Her downtime time includes time on her yoga mat, exploring new places and getting lost in nature.
Nicknamed ‘Roadrunner’ at Kindred, Carsten has worked for many years as Marketing Director at Germany’s largest sports retailer and as Managing Director of an advertising agency, before launching his own fitness start up. Carsten loves loves sports and lives near Munich and besides outdoor sports he loves honey and bees and is a beekeeper himself.
Antonia’s joins Kindred with a successful professional career in business and finance, spending five years working in equity sales & research at brokerage and investment group CLSA before moving to Singapore to join the RHB Banking Group. With a solid business acumen, operational and organisational skills, Antonia made the monumental decision in 2015 to switch careers and pursue her passion in health & wellness and joined the GuavaPass team where she was the General Manager in Hong Kong.
Following an extensive career in luxury cuisine and entrepreneurship, for the past four years Dhabi has established himself as the Resident chef at the Quintessentially Group, where he looks after the bespoke requirements of the club’s members and high net worth individuals. Dearest to his heart still – and something that sees him proudly return to his food roots and rich cultural heritage – is the introduction of the BESO Moorish food project and drinks inspired from the colourful streets of Marrakech and Andalucía.
Emma Sherrard Matthew was born in Singapore and grew up in HK and Malaysia. British educated she returned to HK nearly 20 years ago to organise and lead trade delegations to Mainland China. Given Emma’s extensive network, 14 years ago she was approached by Quintessentially to launch their Asian operations. From 2011-2015 she was the global CEO and is now in the position of Executive Chairman – Asia Pacific.ÊEmma is an active angel investor and sits on a number of company boards of businesses that create positive impact. In addition Emma is also a strong supporter of local charities focusing on women’s empowerment.ÊEmma currently divides her time between HK and Bali where her young children attend the progressive Green School near Ubud.
With a strong background in marketing, design and advertising, Ben was CEO and co-founder of Startel, a business mobile phone company and service platform operated across India, Philippines and Australia. Startel was acquired by Truphone (London) in 2009 and Ben stayed on as Managing Director for the territories. In 2010, Ben founded Vaya and was CEO and CMO – an award winning, web based, mobile phone network which serviced over 400,000 customers in Australia. Ben now spends his time on multiple boards helping serving companies across a range of industries from fashion, events to bio-tech, to offshoring – His time is split between Brisbane, Manila and Singapore.
Yasmin joins Kindred with a BA in Political Science from the American University in Cairo and an MA in Social Sciences from the University of Siegen in Germany. In addition to her business and entrepreneurial pursuits, she works as a research assistant in the Department of Sociology and is pursuing a PhD at the University of Siegen. She also founded and owned a real estate agency, Premier Properties Egypt, prior to returning to academia. When not busy working or researching, she enjoys fashion, travelling and trying new foods.
Ranked number 98 in the UK’s most powerful British business people by the Telegraph, Alexander joins Kindred on the brand side with a wealth of experience and expertise in technology and business. His current businesses include Alexander Amosu – luxury jewellery, accessories, mobile phones and suit brand, Mind of an Entrepreneur – helping people with entrepreneurism, and Screen Nation Awards – a property portfolio worth over £12million.
Nihan is an education consultant with a passion for supporting students in achieving their academic goals for the last 10 years by understanding their capabilities in order to find them the most suitable academic paths for their future careers. As VP of Brands and Advocates in Turkey, Nihan is passionate to provide the most efficient market place environment so that each party can accomplish their digital marketing dreams.
Pranav is an Economics graduate from the University of Essex, and has since worked across fields that have needed no use of that education. He’s got a decade of experience across public relations, corporate communications, hospitality & nightlife, theatre & film production, fashion, and sales & marketing. In his spare time he enjoys reading about Indian history & cultural evolution, OD-ing on music from Africa, and indulging in various forms of natural food preservation methods.
History & Spanish grad from Durham Uni in the early years of his (hopefully long) Sales & Marketing Operations career. Stefano enjoys getting stuck into the planning and management of a company’s systems, processes and infrastructure and has solid prior experience working at a tech-start up developing and embedding new capabilities. Outside of work, Stefano is a keen traveller and polyglot always on the lookout for a new culture to immerse himself in.
From Kuala Lumpur, Sharmayne is a graduate of the London College of Fashion with a background in influencer marketing working with clients like Sainsbury’s and evian. She has also Fashion and Beauty PR experience from various agencies and based in-house at companies like L’Oréal.
Born in the UK and living on the West Coast, Nadia joins Kindred with a demonstrated history of working in PR, brand consultancy and communications. Nadia graduated with a BA from Durham University and though in the early years of her communications career, has enjoyed working in a broad variety of B2B and B2C communications across both corporate and luxury brands. In her spare time, Nadia enjoys writing for various digital publications and skiing in the Northern California mountains.
Prior to joining Kindred as team assistant, Ffion worked in finance and brings extensive experience in account management, administration and operations. In addition to this Ffion is a trained Welsh opera singer from Royal Northern College of Music and teaches children music and singing.
A current second year student at the Courtauld Institute of Art, Ruby has a unique background in international business, having worked at XVA Gallery, a corner stone of the commercial art industry in the United Arab Emirates. Her role, as assistant to the Gallery Director, encompassed not only Gallery sales, but also handling XVA’s social media presence, nurturing relationships with influencers and endorsing brands and products that reflected the gallery’s ethos. When not working for Kindred or studying, Ruby likes to scour vintage shops in East London and hang out with her cat, Sybil.
